Certified Welding Inspector (AWS CWI / CSWIP WI 3.1) ASNT NDE Level II (two) (RT Interpretation, MT, PT, UT) Minimum Work Experience : 5 years of hands on experience with full time involvement in Fabrication, Welding, NDT processes in Piping’s, Pressure Vessels manufacturing & structural works. Update the estimate costs with running market rates Accuracy of Cost Estimates and Cost Assessments Costs meeting budget at post order review Minimum Academic / Professional Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 7 years of experience or Bachelor Degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 4 years of experience Minimum Work Knowledge & Experience : Knowledge of international codes like ASME, ANSI etc. Must have knowledge of reading Fabrication drawing and estimate man hours.     Role Technician - Cabin Base Maintenance Section - New Muscat Airport - Carry out Aircraft Maintenance and rectification work and responsible for carrying out certification of his own work as directed by approval holders- immediate reporting personnel’s. - Check to ensure adequate pre work preparation is carried out to ensure efficient work process during maintenance - Ensure that self and subordinates use proper protective gears to avoid any causality. - Maintain and record of all maintenance work carried out by him in detail. - Check to ensure that all tools and equipment used are operated correct, safe and are maintained in good working condition and report any unserviceability of equipment or tooling or occurrences to Lead Technician - Engineer - Senior Engineer – Cabin in order to take necessary rectification. - Maintain a record of tools available in the toolkit with adequate serviceable tools, engraved with their identification and a permanent list of the tools available in the toolkit as per the EPM Vol. 2 – Procedure 20. - Check to ensure that all manuals, publications are maintained in good order and are kept up to-date to the latest revision. - Report any unserviceability of equipment or occurrences to his immediate supervisor. - Assist in the training and development of Omani National staff placed under his control - Ensure adherence to the Airport Authority rules, company procedures and regulations as well as HSE policies in order to ensure a safe working environment at all times. - Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Maintenance process. - Available for one call support and to work on overtime when required. - Assist and supplement to other sections, AOG recoveries as and when required. Requirements Diploma holder in related engineering discipline (Mechanical / Aircraft Maintenance / Cabin) with 2 years* of relevant experience OR- Recognised Aircraft maintenance training certificate with 4 years* of relevant experience. OR- ICAO Type II – LWTR Certification or its equivalent *As a part of Omanisation, the experience criteria is applicable for “Expatriate” candidates. Requirements Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineers course with Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Basic license - ICAO type II and 5 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance Division, and having B1 or B2 Type Rating approval on B787 and/ or A330 and / or B737 or ERJ or any aircraft that is certified as third party customer By Oman Air OR Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineers course, with Aircraft Engineers License ICAO type ii, holder of OMAN PACA Engineers License, holder of Oman Air Quality Assurance approval as a B1 or B2 certifying Engineer approved on B787 or A330 or B737 or ERJ 175 or any other aircraft type that is certified by Oman Air. Investigate any deviation from the set up standards. - Ensure safeguard of flight revenue documents and prompt dispatch to head office as per the laid-down procedure. - Ensure that company regulations are followed with regard to lost-found-damage baggage and that the time factor in this connection is not exceeded. - Ensure all discrepancies are reported in the station logbook and make RASM aware of corrective action taken along with recommendation to prevent recurrence. - Implement action plan for delayed flight and accomplish all the necessary steps in accordance with the laid-down procedure and ensure maximum attention and care provided to all passengers. - Adapt instructive guidelines for oversold flight on shift basis in line with the action plan – over-sale, brief of all staff under his direction and coordination with GHA for implementation. - Investigate passenger complaint and prepare detailed report for further assessment and action by Customer Relation Section. Copy RASM in the correspondence. - Prepare annual budget for the station identifying all required and applicable cost related activities. - Represent Oman Air at all levels at industry meetings including AOC and local governmental departments. Conduct regular briefing-debriefing sessions with shift in-charges towards improvement. - Present Monthly Reports to respective Regional Airport Services Managers, detailing relevant to airport services performances against KPIs, Customer Services Delivery Standards and Staff issues. - Responsible for station Emergency Response Plan Requirements Bachelor Degree in related discipline with 6 years of experience in relevant field OR 2 years college Diploma with 08 years of experience in relevant field.
