Generic Accountabilities: Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Demonstrate compliance to organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization. Continuous Improvement Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction. Reporting Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards. Job Specific Accountabilities Budget Management Develop budget forecasts based on organization’s corporate plans, estimated revenues / costs and capital investments based on budget structure and rules in order to ensure budget forecast activities are accurate, reliable, and are conducted as per the established policies and procedures. Prepare budget based on objectives, understanding revenues, expenditures and costs, managing capital budget, monitoring budget variances and errors, raising potential issues, making adjustments to ensure proper development and consolidation of annual budgets. Analyse departments / divisions’ annual budget submissions in order to ensure accuracy and completeness of budgets and ensure adequate justifications are provided to support the estimated costs and budgets. Support the communication of budget within the departments, clarifying variations and making necessary adjustments to ensure the departmental budgets are as per the budgeting rules. Support the finalization of the consolidated annual budget in order to ensure alignment with Finance departmental guidelines and present the budget to the supervisor for further review. Assist in the monitoring of departments / divisions’ budget and spending and review monthly financial reports on budget against costs in order to analyze variances and report reasons in a timely manner. Analyze and identify appropriate cost control mechanisms in order to ensure timely corrective action is deployed to mitigate budget variations. Capital Allocation Coordination Support departments in planning capital allocation by providing funding and commercial advice and designing and building economic models to ensure that adequate funds are available for any investment. Conduct financial analysis and modelling to provide technical expertise to the business in making significant merger and acquisition, investment and divestment decisions. Minimum Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any other related field. Minimum Experience 6 years of relevant experience in Finance. Corporate Functions ????    2100034O Requisition # Job Purpose Manage the monthly payroll processing for Group and Joint Venture companies to ensure timely transfer of salaries through appropriate channels. Direct all activities of the payroll team and maintain up-to-date information to ensure accuracy of employee information. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Functional Roles and Responsibilities Organize, plan and effectively manage the payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly salaries and associated payment transactions. Ensure accurate record keeping concerning payroll, leave and benefit administration and employee information, such as employee leave passage. Ensure timely remittance of Pension Fund and GOSI payments through effective coordination with Finance. Update respective finance managers of each company with their monthly provision & reconciliation reports Ensure all Local and Regional regulations and Group polices are applied within payroll configuration. Pro-actively identify continuous improvement initiatives to HRIS and Governance Teams for concerning daily transactions and month end processing. Act as a subject matter expert in assessing or developing solutions as part of wider HRIS intervention/ implementations Comply with and safeguard group policies, processes and SOA’s and escalate exceptions to HR Governance Team Ensure all Group and Joint Venture Companies payroll queries are resolved in a timely manner Provide necessary reports on Group payroll and employee compensation data to the Ministry of Labor as required Manage the periodic audits by internal and external auditors to ensure compliance of policy, processes & SOAs. Propose and follow up for completion of initiatives against any audit observations. People Management Roles and Responsibilities Knowledge & skill transfer to other team members to ensure their growth & development Provide leadership and direction to subordinates towards the achievement of goals and objectives. Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce creative thinking/ innovative ideas, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles Job Requirements Education/Certification and Continued Education - Graduate degree in IT, Economics or HR Years of Experience- 6-7 years relevant experience Languages - English and Arabic is a plus - 16 days ago - 6-7 years of experience
