    We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Engineering professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests As an Engineer you are responsible to assist the Director of Engineering on all matters related to the repairs and maintenance operation of the physical plant and engineering facilities within the hotel The role involves maintaining all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, including heating and ventilation and will include key responsibilities such as: • Organize and set up preventive maintenance programmes for all electrical and mechanical equipment, including general building works • Supervise maintenance employees and contractors who are carrying out minor building work, electrical and mechanical installations • Write specifications for all electrical, mechanical and associated building works, complying with the local government regulations • Decide and agree with the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering on the priorities of all electrical and mechanical projects • Advise and inform the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering on any health and safety matters relating to the electricity and work regulations • Liaise with the local government authorities when necessary • Oversee the general maintenance of all life safety systems throughout the hotel and report any major defects to the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering Skills Education, Qualifications & Experiences You should be holding a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering and should have at least three years experiences in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry A good command of written and spoken English and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials Knowledge & Competencies The ideal candidate will be able to handle stress and work under pressure and bring along strong administrative skills, an analytical mind and the capability of being able to write concise reports You will have a high level of self motivation, develop innovative options in the best interest of the hotel while possessing following additional competencies: Understanding Hotel Operations Teamwork Planning for Business Supervising People Understanding Differences Supervising Operations Effective Communication Drive for Results Customer Focus Adaptability Apply Now
