He will plan, co-ordinate, control and execute the installation of equipment at the well site in-line with CPS and Client Company policies, procedures and systems, Statutory Regulations and good industry practice. The Field Supervisor is the primary point of contact for the customer at the well site, and the role is measured by the accurate fulfilment of job specific processes before, during and after equipment installation, and the quality of the customer interaction at the well site. Undertake any training globally deemed necessary to fulfil customer requirements. Undertake any required training globally to a satisfactory level of achievement within the Renaissance & Capillary Product line. Liaise with and supervise when required the on-site rig / Weatherford crew to ensure correct equipment handling during installation. Become focal point on all aspects of operation when offshore and supervise crew members of shift so as to achieve professional installation. Install and or oversee the installation of Renaissance & Capillary equipment using proven and established working practises within the remit of Quality and Safety Management Systems. Supervise / oversee that all preparations have taken place to ensure that Weatherford equipment is fit for use and all pre-installation checks / testing have been carried out to a high standard onshore / offshore. Ensure that all Weatherford Job pack information /documentation and certification package has been checked and verified before operations commence onshore / offshore. If requested attend Operations / QHSE meetings to share and update on recent well-site activities, any new equipment / processes/and technical information. This meeting will also raise any Health and Safety Issues and allow the Field Supervisor to bring up any relevant issues. Attend pre-job briefing and debriefing meetings to update on customer requirements De-briefs to be completed as soon as is practicable on return to base to minimise effect on ongoing operations. Supply input to the Operations Supervisor / onshore support on any issues regarding Weatherford equipment. Must be able to supply input to dedicated Project Engineer to ensure that the End of Well document is completed at a high standard. The Shift Field Supervisor is responsible for all Field Operation reporting including daily reports and end of job report. Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements , provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these . Must have demonstrated a good knowledge of Rig Systems and Drilling Operations, Well Services Operations and / or Well Completions along with an understanding of Down-hole Hydraulics. Must have demonstrated supervisory and communication Skills, along with an ability to work in a team environment, as well as an ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems. Must have demonstrated an ability to effectively utilise dedicated resources. Must have demonstrated basic keyboard and/or computer skills Preferred : Experience as a diesel mechanic and/or experience as a hydraulic systems mechanic. Discusses proposed programmer changes with Supervisor to improve Drilling Operations and implements changes in case of emergency or safety hazardous on own initiative Supervises and controls the activities of Company?s Services personnel involved in the provision of technical services/operations covering wire line logging, fishing, running and pulling completions, acidizing, cementing, directional drilling, production testing, sampling, coring etc. Monitors execution of related programmers, reviews and reports on progress, arranges administrative support such as accommodation and transportation of personnel and equipment. Investigates required supplies, orders materials/equipment from Company stores and occasionally, requests manufacturing of other requirements such as crossover etc. Controls and ensures the economics consumption and safe utilization of Company supplied materials and equipment. Ensures safe return of equipment and surplus materials to Company?s stores upon completion related Operations Prepares the daily progress report including the daily rig operating cost and supply/acid boats activities at rig site. Holds pre-job meetings with concerned contractor/service companies? personnel to highlight hazards and to advice on preventive measures Liaises with Field Production Supervisor for tower/cellar inspection and handover of activities at each tower/cellar.
