    Monitor the bus routes assigned to ensure that journeys are operated reliably as per the scheduled times. Receive and respond to calls from drivers requiring assistance and advise on the appropriate actions especially in the event of an accident or a reported incident from a driver. Communicate with the drivers to ensure that any disruption to service is unavoidable, particularly where lost Kms may be incurred. Advise drivers on the corrective action to take when faced with early or late arrivals, using the AVM communication protocol. Report to the Supervisors, when their assigned routes face operational obstacles or difficulties to inform and seek advice on solutions. Deal with system or bus equipment faults or bus breakdowns by taking immediate action so as to ensure minimal disruption to services, reporting to the Duty Supervisor as necessary.
